We found this four door hardtop beauty in North Carolina. I just took it out for about 30 minutes around town and I can say it is a very nice driver. I could use this car as an every day driver. The 401 Nailhead engine runs smooth, the 2 speed transmission shifts smoothly, the power steering works great, I was driving it with one finger the whole time. The brakes stop the car with no issues or pulling to one side. I couldnt figure out how to get the heat just right in that time, but it did get warm in the car. The power windows all work but they are a little slow. The power bench seat motors are working but the seat does not move. I think it is just off track and would be an easy fix. The interior has been redone tastefully in a gray and red cloth. The headliner is done in red and is tight, it needs no adjustment. All four doors open and close easily, no dropping down or sticking. It has aftermarket rims which (I think) look great on this car, they add a touch of Hot Rod. There is a couple of minor rust issues on the car (see pictures) just some minor bubbling in the usual GM places, around the rear window and just above the rockers on the rear door panels. The frame is solid and the body is straight and the rockers are solid. The trunk has some minor surface rust, if taken care of soon it will not be an issue. The paint is a respray and is not perfect but it is good driver paint. The bumpers have been powder coated white and probably wont be chipping or peeling anytime soon. All in all this is a really good driver, if you are looking to stand out from the crowd of electric shavers in a classic car you can drive every day, and wont have a heart attack if you scratch it then pile in your friends and take this one for a ride.
