Up for auction is my 1967 VW Bug - This is a classic VW California car. Almost everything is original. This car was my daily driver and is in excellent mechanical condition. The car has been repainted it's original tan color, the interior is the original paint. The radio is original, but sadly it does not work. The seats are original, the material is becoming more brittle every day. I recently replaced the original motor with a 1600 dual port. It's fast with plenty of torque. It's quite quick off the line and can EASILY reach 90 mph. The front beam has been replaced with one that is lowered, giving the car a fantastic look. As the car sits right now it requires no mechanical repair, it's ready to be driven hundreds of miles home. I recently replaced the engine, battery, front windshield, muffler, tie-rods, along with a complete tune up. The tires are fairly new, with plenty of remaining tread. What the car needs are back-up lights, that's about it. The car has almost no rust whatsoever. The pans were covered with undercoating at one time and consequently are super clean and rust free today. I found a couple of minor places where there is some rust, but nothing that compromises the integrity of the car. The roof rack is included in the sale. This car is sold as-is with no warranty implied. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions. The car is available for a test drive and I will allow any independant mechanic team to verify it's condition. If the car is sold to someone outside the State of California, I will not include the license plates with the car. If the car is sold to someone who will register the car in California then they are included in the purchase.
