Up for auction is our 1976 Alfa Romeo Alfetta sedan. Long considered the "red-headed stepchild" of Alfisti, the Alfetta sedan is the ULTIMATE sleeper. The 2.0L DOHC 4 cylinder has been completely freshened by Besic Motorsports, and features rebuilt OEM Spica fuel injection, super rare tube headers and smog delete. The 5-speed rear transaxle has also been freshened, as have the four wheel disc brakes and clutch. The exterior went through a year-long restoration process and received some minor tweaks (side marker lights, side trim and c-pillar vents were removed and filled) and was repainted in the original Olandese Blu. The OEM front grille and headlight assemblies were replaced with units from the much more stylish 1975 Sport Sedan. Genuine wood rimmed Nardi steering wheel. The interior upholstery was completely redone in non-original black vinyl tuner seats with black tweed door panels and grey headliner. The original 100lb black rubber bumpers were replaced with extensively modified 1967 Camaro bumpers. The UBER rare vintage Melber alloy wheels were beadblasted and painted bright silver to match the bumpers. The Bridgestone Potenzas have less than 500 miles on them and make a nice howl during four wheel drifts. This car is an absolute BLAST to drive. Being a 36 year-old car, built by a company that hasn't imported to the US since 1996, it is not without its issues, however. I don't have the key for the door or trunk locks. The dash has some cracks in it. The rubber seals around all four door openings leak and should to be replaced. The driver's door window regulator is non-operational. There is an electrical short in the system SOMEWHERE that draws the battery down after several weeks. In my opinion, paint and interior are about 7.5 on a scale of 10, but I have pretty high standards. If you are expecting 100-point concours quality, you're looking in the wrong place.
