1965 Ford Mustang Shebly Tribute !!! Coupe VIN# 5F07T619xxx 1965 FORD MUSTANG SHELBY TRIBUTE COUPE Up for auction is a very complete 1965 Mustang Coupe. We added both the side scoops, hood scoop, and fiberglass rear deck lid to give this car the look of a real Shelby. The original 6 cylinder engine and transmission were replaced by a powerful 302 out of a modern 5.0 L Mustang. In addition, we added a T-5 Manual Transmission to give this beautiful Mustang all the gears needed for great gas mileage plus plenty of punch. In addition, all the body work and rust repair have been professionally done on this car. There are still some details that you will want to add yourself like new wheels, new door panels, and maybe add a console in between the seats, but otherwise, not much is needed. We are planning to finish the rest of the work ourselves, but we thought maybe someone would like to do some of the work and save some money. If the car does not sell now, we will finish the restoration as soon as the auction ends, and the price will be much higher when we are finished. The car is painted a beautiful Acapulco Blue with Wimbleton White stripes. BODY: The frame on this Coupe is in great condition and all the rust repair was done professionally. Please see the detail pictures of the body. The doors and the hood are in excellent condition. INTERIOR: The interior is a beautiful white, and really sets the car apart from other Mustangs. You will need to add new door panels, and maybe a console, but not much else. All the wiring is in the car and seems to be in good condition. Dash is in good shape but the dash pad will need replacing or recovering. ENGINE BAY: The Engine and engine bay are in great condition. The 302 engine starts easily and runs smooth with plenty of power, and the new aluminum radiator will keep the engine nice and cool. BRAKE SYSTEM: We added power front disk brakes and 5 lug suspension in the rear.. Both are in good shape, and a great addition to any Mustang. GLASS: The Mustang also has good door glass and side window glass. The windows roll up and down. The car has no cracks in the windshield or real window, but there are a couple of scratches that can be buffed out. MISC. The Mustang comes with everything shown in the pictures.. I have a couple of contacts for all the other NOS stuff you may need. I HAVE 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK AND PLAN TO KEEP IT THAT WAY!
