For sale 1981 bj42 diesel landcruiser.Body off frame partial restoration.She's not perfcet but you would be hard pressed to find a cleaner more rust free bj42 landcruiser of this vintage.Frame sandblasted and painted.Drivetrain gone thru and whatever brearings,seals etc replaced where req'd.I noticed front t/c output seal leaking,purchased new seal but not installed yet,might leave in glovebox for new owner to do!New shocks,shackles &spring bushings.Brakes rebuilt all around.Steering seems tight with no excessive play.Engine has approx.325,000km (200,000 miles) and still runs great though problably a bit smokier than new on startup.Once warm she runs like top.Has rebuilt injectors,alternator,starter.New waterpump,glowplugs and exhaust.Rad flushed & pressure tested.12 volt electrics overseas spec. not 24volt canadian spec.body painted inside and out.Tub was in amazingly rust free condition and took very little prep to paint.New OEM fenders,new door seals all around.Interior is in excellent condition.Front seat reupholstered,new headliner.Dash looks nice and clean,upper dash pad perfect except for one small 3/4" crack.Door panels excellent also except for 1" crack on drivers door.Floormat original & really nice for it's age.One small hole worn through by your heal at throttle pedal.Exterior nice & clean with rebuilt tire carrier,new mirrors,tailites,markerlites.I've tried to give an accurate description of truck but you'd have to see for yourself.You just don't see bj42's this clean at this price very often.Truck also listed locally reserve the right to cancell auction at any time.Sucessful bidder req'd to make 10% deposit on my paypal within 24hrs.Final payment & pickup to be discussed by phone .Happy bidding.
