I've decided to sell my beloved Speedster. Making room for other projects and interest. But I know I will regret this someday... In traditional and classic Porsche metallic silver exterior and dash painted color. Lined with soft subtle black leather interior and trim. This car unlike other Speedster kit cars sold here on ebay, is actually a factory built example from the most respected and largest Speedster builder in the world, Vintage Speedsters. Please read the following link for more info on them. http://www.vintagespeedsters.co.uk/ Twin performance dual carburettor feeds the 1776cc dual port air cooled push rod vw german engine. An option that boosts more pep and power for better performance over the original 356 1600cc motors. Also has Bosch Alternator instead of a generator for better reliability and making it a more user friendly classic. plus Petrinox electronic ignition system. Engine pulls strong and lustfully...gears all change with a flick of the wrist. It is a pure pleasure to drive. It handles with graceful balance. Hard to describe unless you have ever driven a rear engine sports car. The suspension I'm told is a premium upgrade. Tastefully done by Vintage Speedster and helps finish off the aesthetic curb appeal by accurately sitting lower and aggressive as were the authentic icon Porsche speedsters seen in those days. This feature also helps with cornering stability and performance as well. This 2005 example was built during a time when "no expenses" was spared. A better economic time meant cars that were built with stricter quality. These are known as the better years in 356A Speedster recreations. Not too old as like the ones built in the 80s or 90's or cheaply built like the latest ones now... The detail is incredibly accurate. Hard to tell from original. The body and interior is absolutely stunning! You will not be dissapointed.The body is taken from an original mould that was used in the fifties for the original cars, thus meaning the panel gaps and finish is nothing short of being perfect. Well maintained and garaged it's whole life and you can tell. The carpet and leather seats are like brand new! The dash and door panels are perfect. Gauges and instrument panels are jewel like and work like clock work. Has premium sound system installed with ipod connect ready to listen to the sound from either your iphone or ipad through to the premium speakers of the car!! With removeable faceplate to retain the classic clean dash look. Fully serviced and is ready to be enjoyed and driven to anywhere. Recently had new fluids changed. (Castrol Full synthetic­ classic motor oil 20/50) sump plate. New plugs and wires. Twin carb system has been cleaned and tuned and runs very well. Tires are still very good and is like 80% tread life left in them. The chrome on the wheel is spotless and looks fantastic. *The top was hardly used and is still like new. It is black to match the interior. Has remove able door windows. Has upgraded full and half Tonneau covers included with car! (see pictures)The bad- there isn't much. There are a few paint chips on the front lower bumper (see pic) and there is a small crack in the paint down the the rear decklid (see pic). The driver's side headlight trim ring is dented. The actual headlight and body mount seem fine. I have no idea how this dent happend.. seems like the screw was over-tightened (see pic).. it was there when I purchased the vehicle and it never really bothered me so I left it. Thats it! nothing else wrong with the car! Also, this speedster recently passed Texas State inspection which is pretty strict. You should have no problem registering this car and driving right away! Be warned that many speedsters being sold will need some work to pass inspection before you can legally drive it on the road! These cars retails $35,000+ brand new.
