1940 Ford standard coupe, estate car, placed in storage 1976, the original Lion blue color on this standard coupe with the rear jump seats is a beautiful and rare combination, car was repainted black in 1960, 59A-B flathead engine that is stuck for now, I have put penetrating oil in the cylinders, body parts are solid, only rust areas I find is some pin holes in the rear tool box area, inner fender under the battery box, one small patched place in passenger side floor, and two small hair line cracks on the driver’s side floor which are all shown in the pictures, previous owner liked the 1939 deluxe grill and bumpers better and installed them on this car, showing 34,000 miles, 15 inch wheels, does have a hot air heater, front seat is not original and appears to be from a Ford four door sedan, rear jump seats appear to have original material, dash is above average condition, extra tail light and turn signals installed at some time, brake shoes were removed on three of the wheels to allow the car to roll out of storage and they do come with the car, no spare tire, no tools, does have the owner’s manual, this standard Lion blue jump seat coupe never wrecked with 34,000 miles in storage for 36 years is a good opportunity for some one wanting a 1940 coupe, title is in the previous owner’s name with a copy of his death certificate ready to transfer to the new owner, car is located in London Kentucky on I-75, payment will be within 7 days after the auction ends in the form of bank transfer of funds or cash at pick up, I will assist with loading the car if shipped, I have more pictures for the serious buyer, reserve will not be revealed during the auction, if you can not wait until the auction ends then come and make a offer, if there is any questions about this car send me an email or call 606-309-2420 EST.
