To all potential buyers--please bid only if you have the means to buy the car. This is the second time I am listing this automobile which is a relatively local and recent barn find. At the time I listed the vehicle I did not have a very good idea of what was wrong with the car. Since the bidding ended I did some additional work on the car as requested by winning bidder. Since that time I have gotten the car running and while I knew that it would start I am pleasently surprised as to how well and smooth it runs since it has not been inspected or on the road for many years. As it stands now, it has a new battery, excellent compression, new plugs and a thoroughly cleaned gas tank. It actually runs so quietly and smoke free that it is hard to believe and I have worked on cars for 50+ years. Right now the water pump leaks and there is no brake pressure to speak of. The clutch works ok but only in terms of getting it in and out of gear, as I cannot drive it without brakes. The frame is rust free but I did find a hole in the floor area near the drivers feet area which is not unusual and some additional rust popping out at the bottom of the right front fender.The oil and filter have been changed and the thing absolutely does not smoke a bit. With the choke cleaned and lubricated it starts in two revolutions and the lifters are as quiet as I have ever heard. Additional pics upon request and questions answered promptly. Motor now turns over and has good compression in all cylinders
