2002 Audi TT Quattro-All Wheel Drive, 6-Sp, Convertible, 1.8L. She starts easily and runs very well with no smoke or leaks but has one connecting rod that knocks. Bad journal on crankshaft. Crankshaft will need to be replaced or repaired. Easy repair. I bought this Audi a few years ago with a salvage title and light damage to the front. NO damage to the frame or front supports and engine was not touched. Below are just a few of the bolt on items that I replaced: Front bumper assembly Hood Drivers airbag Passenger airbag Radiator Fan assembly Thermostat AC Condensor Upgraded to a larger front Turbo Intercooler setup. Turbo is in excellent shape. New clutch with about 1,000 miles on it ($$) New timing belt and related components New High performance Aluminum Firenza flywheel ($$)- Shifts very nice New Bosch Iridium Spark plugs ($$)I have a binder containing all the components purchased, replaced or upgraded. Audi runs very well. Salvage title in my name. NOTE: I will be traveling to Europe from 7-5 thru 7-15 but will have access to email if questions arise. Transaction will be completed upon my return.
