This is a 1966 Ford Mustang that has been totally restored. This car was stripped down to the bare metal. It has the original quarters and floorboards. The hood and both doors are new(reproduction). The framerails and the torque boxes are solid and original. The interior is all new. The wiring harness was replaced with the EZ wiring harness and every electrical component was replaced. It has the one wire 100 amp alternator, an optima battery, and the complete procomp ignition system. The entire brake system is new. I replaced all the brake lines, wheel cylinders, brake shoes, and all the brake hardware. I also replaced all of the emergency brake cables and all components.The engine is a low mileage roller 302 out of a 2001 ford explorer. Every gasket along with the timing chain, water pump, fuel pump were replaced. I added a torker 302 intake and a edelbrock 650 cfm carb with electric choke. The engine has a ford racing E303 cam, GT40P heads, and a set ot Hedman headers that makes a nice sound. It has a champion 3 core aluminum radiator in it. It has a new 2.5" summit racing dual exhaust system. The entire steering and suspension has been repaced( i.e. upper and lower control arms, upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends, pitman and idler arms etc...) The tires and wheels are new. The power steering pump and hoses are new and the control unit was rebuilt. It has the Vintage Air generation IV system in it that works great. The paint job is not a perfect Chip Foose job, but it is Very Very presentable. I have over 300 pictures of the restoration which was completed in the first part of January.
