Up for auction here is a 1999 Hyundai Sonata with approx. 86,000 miles. This car has been totally reliable, it never left me sit. Runs and drives well. It is a valid PA inspection until September 2012. I just put 4 brand new tires on it a month ago. The radio works perfectly and the AC blows cold! Heat works great too! This car does have cosmetic issues! The clear coat on the paint is peeling, there are a few scratches and scuffs from being parked on the street. There is very little rust--just one small spot on the roof of the vehicle above the windshield. It's strictly a cosmetic issue, not structural at all. The passenger side window needs a new motor. The window doesn't go up and down. It needs a little bit of work done on the exhaust before the next inspection (the flex pipe leaks)--doesn't affect the driveability, but it is required for PA Inspection. The windshield has 2 small stone hits. It's on the passenger side and has passed inspection the past 2 years like that because it does not obscure the driver's view. I filled one, and the other can easily be filled with resin. The speedometer only works part of the time--it recently started this issue. We're trying for absolute full disclosure on the vehicle. As I've detailed, it does have some issues, but nothing out of the ordinary for a vehicle of this age. It has always performed well for me. You'll have no problem driving this vehicle home.
