Vehicle Detail
This car is original except for after-market replacement parts when original parts were not available. Excellent running car, used mostly during summer months, stored in a garage during winter months. As a result of sitting & not being run on a regular basis during colder months, some blue smoke when first starting engine indicates valve seals may need replaced. Compression is fine, almost like new. No fluid leaks & no seepage around engine gaskets. Most current PA. inspection 08/25/2011 showed tire tread at 6/32, brakes at 5B/32 (bonded brakes). New master & slave cylinder, clutch hoses, pinion seal & rebuilt carburetors installed 8/25/2011, new starter solenoid installed 8/15/10, oil change & filters on regular basis. Convertible top & tonneau cover in very good condition except as noted below. Battery is in good shape but does need recharged if sitting for a while. Right rear corner window of top has crack, drivers seat has seam split, new carpeting supplied but needs installed, drivers door leather stop is torn, some rust behind front wheel wells but rest of body is sound. Spare tire in trunk needs inner tube, but is mounted on rim. Paint is good but faded except right front fender that is more recently painted when replaced a while back. Cowl has various signs of rubbing & chips due to bonnet binding during opening as a result of left (drivers side) bolt-on hood hinge is bent and creased & needs replaced. Photos do not show slight ripple in hood near cowl as a result of binding. Present owner is second owner of vehicle, purchased only a few years after new.
