Vehicle Detail

I’ve owned & built over 200 (yes over TWO HUNDRED) Classics and this is in the top 5 of my favorites. “FARKOTA” (39 Fargo/2000 Dakota) has 73 years of Mother Nature Craftsmanship on the outside and New Age Engineering beneath. It is truly a Standout at any show, car meets; anywhere you park or drive. You will not find anything like it anywhere else. This is the type of vehicle that you only get ONE opportunity in a lifetime to buy. I have a history in Classics and I assure you this will not disappoint you when you receive it. A true piece of History resurrected to live for another 75 or more years. OK FOLKS HERE IT IS ... EVERYONE WANTS TO BUY A GR8 LOOKING SHOP TRUCK or RAT ROD AT A GOOD PRICE; AND I'M NOT INTERESTED IN SELLING IT FOR LESS THAN IT’S WORTH. SO HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO BUY A QUALITY, HEAD TURNING, RELIABLE, FUN, RAT ROD TRUCK AND YOU DECIDE WHAT ITS WORTH. UP FOR AUCTION IS MY “FARKOTA” AN EXTREMELY RARE FARGO (NOT A DODGE) RAT ROD. THIS TRUCK GETS LOOKS FROM YOUNG AND OLD. IF YOU WANT A UNIQUE RIDE THAT GETS LOTS OF ATTENTION …. BID to win ‘CAUSE YOU ARE THE CENTER OF ATTENTION FOR SURE IN THIS TRUCK. “FARKOTA” 1939 Fargo pick-up body correctly grafted onto a 2000 Dakota (low mi) frame & running gear. All Dakota components were used, wiring, computer, gauges, cruise, stereo, etc. Stance and ride designed for no complications, TIRES DO NOT RUB! MY TRUCK IS REGISTERED AND PLATED , IS WORRY FREE AND DRIVES AWESOME, WAS BUILT WITH SAFETY & QUALITY IN MIND. I Would be happy to deliver anywhere, You pay expenses for me to drive it to you and a return flight. Or arrange a shipper, I will help as I can, I will take to U.S. Buyer to Pay all expenses. THIS TRUCK WILL NEED NOTHING BUT GAS AND A NEW OWNER. READY TO SHOW OFF TO YOUR FRIENDS AT THE LOCAL CRUISE STOP. I DRIVE THIS TRUCK TO MY SHOP (20 mi. one way) & RUN SHOP ERRANDS EVERY DAY. How does it drive? The truck drives gr8, a real joy, love it, and the attention it gets. Built for personal/shop use, have towed several vehicles, we towed a ‘69 Road Runner to a Mopar show, (2 hours away) ran awesome, no problems, no concerns, plenty of power. Motor: 3.9 litre v/6 does not smoke, no vibrations, very Economical & Reliable. Dakota’s also come with 318, 360, even Hemi’s … so for a few bucks you could easily change without adapting anything. Cooling: Uprite mounted factory Aluminum Radiator, Electric Fan, Temperature runs cool even when towing on hot days. Exhaust: Stock Dakota relatively quiet. Power Steering: Working Great, No leaks, & Super Smooth. Transmission: Auto with Overdrive. Smooth shifting & tight. Paint: “73 Years of Mother Nature’s Patina” YOU COULDN'T DUPLICATE THIS FINISH WITH ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD. Body: NO RUST OUT, SOLID BODY … Surface rust only; No holes or rough “pitting”. Factory Original Panels. Great doors, Great Solid Cab, Fenders 73 years young so have a few “wrinkles” that really ad to the overall Character appearance. Dodge hood & tailgate … phone number is not on doors, name is easily removed, is reduced paint. FLIP FRONT END, TOO! Glass: New Front and rear tinted glass. The door windows have no Cracks, (not installed) was planning on power Windows, roll down and up but require some assistance. Wheels: Stock Dakota mags. Tires: Front New, rear with 75% tread. Brakes: Front Disc, Rear Drums, Recently Serviced & stops on a dime. No issues, all lines are good, Power Brakes, Master Cylinder Mounted on the Firewall. Tail Lights: 59 Caddy w/blue dots. (Give a purple look) Electrical: Perfect conditions, 12volt with alternator. The entire original gauges work, Dakota factory gauges and switches are Mounted in Fargo dash. Interior: Seats in gr8 condition, Dakota mounted on original riser. Fold down centre armrest/console. C.D. player, radio in an enlarged glove box location. Bed: Raised Bed (about 4 inches), Mounted on 1” square tubing. Bed floor is Natural weathered, PlyWood sheet with original look. Fuel filler is inside original (Patina finish) Cream Can from local creamery, a real nice Rat Rod look. PLEASE LOOK CLOSE TO THE PICS, A FEW ARE OF PREVIOUS ENJOYED RIDES.... I have other vehicles for sale, some are pictured, none to give away .... ASK ANY QUESTIONS AND HAPPY BIDDING... IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE FUNDS PLEASE DON'T BID...AND PLEASE ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. Winning bid is a purchase agreement and will be considered a binding contract. Thank-you for viewing my listing, feel free to duplicate any pics … hope you enjoy “FARKOTA” as much as I do.
