The car is a one-owner car in fair condition and has been very reliable since it was bought. It's running well despite the high mileage and all major parts have just recently been serviced. The car has been always inspected and maintained regularly. Our mechanic always told us that Mitsubishi Monteros drive forever, which seems to be true because there have been no major problems since we bought the car. However, before we decided to sell the car, we had the car checked by a certified repair shop to see what parts may need to be replaced or serviced soon. The total estimate for all parts (e.g. water pump, camshaft tensioner etc.) which are recommended for replacement is $421.00. If you can't do the job on your own, the labor at a certified repair shop would be another $335.00. The certified repair shop estimate is available for review. Also, there is some body damage to the rear and on the side (small dents), but no rust or structural damages. We are the only owners of the car since it was purchased new at a dealership lot in Atlanta, Georgia, in early 2003. Currently, the car is located in Orlando, Florida, where it was driven for 3 months by my son. The car is a good and safe car or for parts. Selling at 1,999.00 (which is $1,100 below the current Blue Book value) or best offer.
