1967 Bownam and Son Tin Top Camper. I got this bus from a woman in VA who's barn had partially fallen in and this bus was inside. This is truly a barn find. This is one nice bus! It runs good and the body is very solid for how old it is. There is some rust on the rockers and the front drivers side floorboard has a small rust through. The nose has some rust and filler. You can see it in the picture of the nose but the rest of the bus is nice. The battery boxes are not even rusted out!! The cargo floor is solid and the frame and underside of the bus are in very good shape. Both bumper are with the bus but the front bumper is bent a little. The camping interior is in good shape. The engine runs good and does not smoke. I have been running it from a bottle and the fuel lines will have to be replaced. All in all this is a good bus and would not take much to put on the road or you could make a very nice bus out of this one with a little time and money. The woman I got it from said that it was bought on the west coast and was drove up and down the west coast to Grateful Dead concerts in the 70's and in 1980 they moved to the east coast and brought in to VA. There are a few old Grateful Dead sticker still on the bus. I have receipts for all work done to the bus for all the 1980's. I have been driving it around on my farm and does fine. All Shipping will be taken care of by the buyer. I will not drive to any port. All money will be paid to me before this bus moves an inch. Preferred payment is in cash 3 day after auction ends. I live in Ravenswood WV and encourage anyone bidding to come check out the bus and see that is what I say it is. This bus will be sold with clear WV title and keys for the bus.
