You're bidding on a 1992 Mercedes Benz 500E (W126.036), a very exclusive automobile produced by Mercedes Benz between 1991 and 1995, with a total world wide production of fewer than 10,100 units. Only from 1992 through 1994 these cars were imported to U.S., with a total of 1,505 units in that 3 year period. What makes this car a great investment, for someone who really appreciate older Benzes, is the fact that 1992 was the last production year with this high output engine, 326 H.P., later models were de-tuned to 315 H.P., to avoid the imposed gas guzzler tax. This 500E has become a true classic, 20 years old this year, it will maintain and increase its value. Only a few are left in existence, even fewer available for sale.
