1965 FORD MUSTANG COUPE 289 BLACK ON BLACK GT STRIPES V8 A/T SWEET RIDE! Up for auction is a beautiful classic 1965 Ford Mustang. Brand new "Raven Black" paint job. Paint is a single stage with integrated clear coat.. New front and rear bumpers. New billet grille, new emblems, new exterior rear view mirrors, new tail light lenses, new headlights. Remaining exterior trim is complete and in great shape. Wheels are very clean Pacer Supremes chrome 14x7's. Daytona 235/60/14 tires with good tread. The motor is a 289 small block. Motor is turn key, runs great and has plenty of power. Performs nicely on both the street and highway. Performance and new parts include: Edelbrock 600 carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, RV camshaft, MSD Blaster coil, new Duralast starter, new Duralast Gold battery, new Duralast distributor, new Spectre re-usable air filter, Weiand aluminum valve covers, dual exhaust with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. Has a nice aggressive sound! Transmission is a C4 Cruise-o-matic three speed automatic. It shifts good through all gears. Interior is standard black and shows very nice. New interior parts include: New carpet, new front seat covers, new door panels, new dash pad, new gauge cluster bezel. All interior metal paneling has been refinished. This Mustang still has its factory radio, currently not working. Brakes work good and the suspsension handles good. Undercarriage is nice and clean, it does have one rust spot on the passengers side floor pan which was patched by the previous owner (see photo). Trunk is nice and clean with no rust. It was sprayed with a factory style spackle finish at the same time the body was painted. Clean and clear CA title Overall a very nice clean Mustang that is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
