1984 Porsche 944 This is a great running car that I've been using as an enjoyable daily driver. It starts up and runs and shifts well. This car was going to be a track car so I had the rod bearings replaced. The head was upgraded to a turbo model after being rebuilt. The car starts and runs just fine. There are some issues listed below but they do not take away from the fun and dependability of the car. Recent Work: Rebuilt Head / Turbo Head New Head Gasket (Turbo upgrade) Lighter Exhaust manifold installed New Rod Bearings New Timing Belt Kit installed with new rollers included Koni Adjustable Front Struts with 200lb Weltmeister Springs Koni Adjustable Rear Shocks 28mm front swaybar New Plug Wires (Magnecor), Cap, Rotor, and Plugs installed New Clutch Master Cylinder New Clutch Slave Cylinder Oil Cooler seals replaced Vacuum Lines Replaced with Silicone Lines for more reliability Good: Runs and drives well Great torque, you can start this car off in 2nd or even 3rd gear so there are no compression issues Interior is in good shape Power windows operate - both drivers and passengers Headlights go up and down Fog Lights work Tracks straight Paint in good condition No rust issues Wiper delete in rear window Bumper is straight Issues: Drivers Side Quarter Panel has some dents Drivers Side Rocker Panel has a big dent but it is not structural A/C still installed but does not blow cold and would need conversion to 134a The passenger side seat will not go back and forth Door panels are a little rough Tachometer works when it feels like it Flutter in the Speedometer Electric hatch release does not workFront wheels need balanced Of Interest: Past accident Not Actual Miles, the gauge cluster was replaced. Autocheck reports this as a possible rollback despite the title clearly showing TMU (True Mile Unknown) or NAM (Not Actual Mileage) as reported on my Pennsylvania title I have no idea how Autocheck reports this as a 12 owner vehicle Note: The "beautiful" twin of this car is also listed for auction - WP0AA0946EN451211 Both cars run and drive. Both cars have full engine and transmission, both have been driven recentlyThey are both black, both 1984 model year. The way I tell them is that this one still has its interior and a red gas cap cover. I am not trying to deceive anyone or trick anyone in anyway, these two twins just happen to be for auction at the same time.
