Up for sale is my 1988 Volvo 740 turbo wagon. it runs great and the transmission shifts smoothly, the brakes work good, the suspension is solid and it rides nice. The tires look good and there is no visible signs of cancer from the bottom or the sides. The body looks good though it appears someone got too close to something on the passenger side(as shown in pic). It will need a WINDSHIELD, a corner parking light,and a fog light to pass inspection. The interior is nice with few flaws, it has power everything and is very spacious, the few flaws are shown in pics. Everything works except the sunroof which I have not looked into, other than that it is very nice(I have not seen another interior of this year look this good) even the spare tire looks like new as well as its storage area, even the little tool kit is with it. I traded my 4x4 four wheeler for this car and I am looking to get close to that value. While I will start the reserve and auction low. These cars are hard to find like this especially because its a turbo model(builds boost nicely) Whether you want this car original as it is or whether you want to race them(yes, people make race cars out of these as you can see in the video links below) you can appreciate how awesome these cars are they are built like tanks, powerful, durable and seem to run forever. They have transmissions from Toyota trucks in them so they last. They even have a system built into the body so if you get hit from the side it crushes the center of the car, not you and passengers and their seat. According to statistics online I read there was not a single fatality in one of these cars.
