I am the original owner of this well-loved and well cared for 1986 Pontiac Fiero SE. I hate to sell it but my husband bought me a Mini Cooper and I can’t justify having two cars. The interior is in really good condition. The seats are in excellent condition with no holes, tears or marks in the upholstery. All gauges work. Cruise control does not function (reason unknown). A/C works but needs charging. This car has never been smoked in. I have replaced the original radio/cassette player with a new Pioneer CD Player/AM-FM Radio (operating manual included). I have provided pictures of virtually every little defect so you will be thoroughly aware of the condition. The body has normal wear and tear (mostly minor paint nicks/chips and some spider webbing on the white front panel below the hood). There is a crack in the black door trim (at the bottom and to the rear of the driver’s side door) and a crack down the side panel behind the passenger’s side window. There is also a crack in the rear panel below the trunk. The paint is not faded and the car has always been parked in the garage when not in use. There is absolutely no rust on this car since she was born and raised in California. The engine is great – never had any problems with it. The clutch has been replaced once. This car has always passed the Smog Test. No modifications have been made to the car except the upgrade from cassette to CD player. It has good tires with original Pontiac rims. Pop-up headlights work. Original Owner’s Manuals are included. *Buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle and arranging delivery. I have never had any problems with the transmission but I asked my husband to drive the car and he said it seemed fine to him. However, when he was listening to the car idle he said he thought he heard something I have never noticed. He thought that one of the valve lifters was making a little noise. I never heard it because I’m never outside the car when it’s running. We haven’t done anything about it but I thought I should post this information. I was also asked about whether the car has fuel injection. It’s a 2.8 liter engine with what’s called Multi-Port Fuel Injection; also called Electronic Fuel Injection.
