The guy I bought it from told me he got it out of a barn that was being torn down and the vehicle had been off the road for quite a while. The good: The bus has the full camper set with curtins, sink, ice box, bed in back, cot in pop-top and childs cot over front seats. New battery, the motor is a 1.7 litre which runs strong (also comes with a newly rebuilt 2.0 engine with complete fuel injection if purchase price is above $3000.00 but will need to be set up and installed) I bought and installed a new carb ($319.00) used the existing intake (the new intake is included. 4 new hankook tires 0 miles, sandblasted and painted the rims. New brakes and rear brake line with wheel cylinder. Engine compartment seal, front door seals, and pop-top/luggage seal included. Installed a pioneer detachable face stereo with Ipod hookup, 2 infinity 6x9’s and 2 Clarion 9250 6x9’s. The bad: Mileage unknown but have receipt for full overhaul in 82, Fuel guage doesn’t work. The bus has some rust issues but not terrible for a Midwest bus (I priced out the panels at bus boys and replacements are under $1000.00. The plywood floor in the back is rotten and should be removed, the front seats could use recovering. The window seals should be replaced and the surface rust sanded. The bus runs and drives as it is now shifts smooth no poping out of gear and shifter is tight no slop like most of the buses I’ve owned and could be used while you are fixing the cosmetics. I have many pics and am willing to send you any specific pictures you want. Deposit of US $250.00 within 24 hours of auction close. Immediate deposit required for Buy It Now.
