1948 Ford 2-Door Deluxe. Flathead 8 cyl engine rebuilt (by others), bored .100 over, adjustable lifters, new valves. Offenhauser heads, Weiand 2-Carb Manifold w/rebuilt carbs, 11 LB. aluminum flywheel, new clutch and pressure plate. Electric and manual fuel pumps. Shop cleaned fuel tank. New steel fuel line. New tie-rod ends, new shocks, rebuilt master and wheel cylinders, brake drums turned, new brake lining. 4” dropped front axle. Tires good with 14” aluminum rims. Rebuilt transmission. 3:78 rear end w/new bearings. Approximately 2500 miles since beginning of rebuild. New interior throughout including rubber around windows. Front/rear seats from ’99 Explorer. 6-volt system w/new wiring harness. Very good paint – painted disassembled with new webbing added at reassemble. Minimal rust noted at disassemble. Original body stainless chrome polished.
