this is a clean 1969 buick riviera selling for a friend this car was apparently kept in the family its intire life i have no supporting documents but know the gentleman well and has never lied to me. it was purchase by his fathers side of the family then handed down to his father then to him has low miles for its age judgeing by the wear on pedals and such and the fact that all the power windows still work and there is no records or knowledge of them being repaired i would guess 80,000 at most there was a transmission issue and trans has been rebuilt and it feels like it shifts firm and solid. this car is super straight and still has its gold paint on under the primer the car was scuffed and lightly sanded to remove faded and compromised original paint but was not stripped most of the chrome was removed by the same body shop and was polished and wrapped individualy and placed in trunk the hideaway head lights need attention and one grill or maybe both are broken as far as the grill s are concerned the interior still smells like i remember as a child in my parents cars and is in remarkeable condition the rear sail panel lights stilll work and the interior lights up like no other ive seen WOW what a neat old car. i drove it and feel that the ignition should be replaced with a hei system or the current points sytem needs replaced and that the carb needs overhauled due to sitting im sure i did a compression test on it and all cylinders were within 8 psi of each other at 150psi a/c system is still in tact but not operable ? its all there as far as i can tell and remakeable in my opinion the bullet needs paint and replacemnt or restoration of a few items to make it a beautiful car again. it is a driver just very touchy brakes since they are power brakes and drum and the gas pedal is equaly touchey due to the big block i suppose im spoiled with modern convenience of low horse power and torque and power disc its a fine automobile and easily a show car with minimal effortsOn Jun-19-12 at 20:06:48 PDT, seller added the following information: THIS IS A 430 - 4 BARREL SORRY IF ANY CONFUSION I HAVE MANY PICS AND AM CAPABLE OF ANY PIC YOU SPECIFICALLY NEED JUST ASK ITS STILL HAS FACTORY Q-JET AND DISTRIBUTER ALONG WITH FACTORY AIR CLEANER THAT HAS ITS ORIGINAL STICKER ON IT THAT HAS A BUICK SYMBOL AND NUMBERS 430-4On Jun-21-12 at 21:37:53 PDT, seller added the following information: the bumpers are straight the rubbers that meet the hood are still on it along with the leather or rubber dust covers that are attatched by staples from the factory on the wheel wells this car is CRAZY ORIGINAL IT CAN BEE DRIVEN OR HAULED TO ITS DESTINATIONOn Jun-22-12 at 16:32:37 PDT, seller added the following information: added pics due to so many request as i stat in the ad if you want a particular pic just ask and be specific the floors are as solid as the trunk which is like a rock the blimish on the rear quarter panel is from the body shop it didnt have a dent till it went there all the paper in the trunk is the chrome wrapped up as well as the stock stereo even the tar paper sound deadner is in perfect condition in the trunk factory carpet just needs cleaened i dont know what else to say
