1985 Classic Isuzu Trooper II for sale with RARE 4 speed manual transmission. This Trooper currently has 171K original miles on it. It still feels, looks, runs and drives like it was almost new. Very mechanically sound and just simply a joy to drive. The engine starts right up and holds a smooth idle at 900 rpms. The 1.9 liter engine produces a pleasant suprise of pep, and still manages to provide outstanding gas mileage. It always operates at a very cool temperature in any duration of driving. All of the fluids are clean and filled to their proper levels. There is not a drop of fluid leaking on this Trooper. The clutch feels great and certainly has lot's of life left. The 4speed transmission shifts through all gears effortlessly and easily keeps up with highway speeds. 75MPH at 3300 rpms just to give you an idea. I have only used the 4 wheel drive a few times, however it works wonderfully, and will make this truck climb like a goat. It has automatic locking hubs, so you do not have to get out to engage it. All four tires have approx 70% of tread left, with the full size spare never being used. The front and rear brakes are near new. All of the electronics work great, including all lights, turn signals, horn, interior lights, and wipers. The air conditioning blows ice cold. It has many new parts including a complete top end rebuild, which was a common issue on this year. A weber carb, air filter and breathing kit, starter, battery and all drive belts. There is a an extreme amount of space under the hood. Making everything very accessible. It is not currently setup for California smog. It does not currently have a stereo, however speakers and wiring are ready for an easy installation of one. The paint is still in very impressive condition, and shines like new. If you wanted it perfect, a little touch up paint would do wonders on this truck. There is one small glass chip on the windshield ( see pic ) right near the middle. This has already been professionally fixed and will not get any worse. It Does not obstruct any views what so ever. The interior has no rips or tears. The rear seat folds down with a pull of a lever and may be completely removed within seconds. The rear compartment is extra roomy and the large sliding windows gives you that very vintage feeling:) This Trooper has never been smoked in and is also free of any accidents.
