For Sale : 1966 Mustang Coupe equipped with a 200 6cyl engine with 3 speed manual transmission Dressed in the original color,wimbledon white paint with black interior. This southern car appears to have been restored sometime in the 90's. This car runs and drive great and is very solid and clean. Could be used as a daily driver, cruise in car etc without embarrassment just the way it is. The vehicle needs freshened up as there is some age on the restore. A couple of dings, scratches etc in the paint. The paint is nice any shiny but does need repainted to make super sharp. The interior is nice with no tears or rips in the seats. The carpet is brand new, the previous carpet was nice but faded. The dash is nice with no additional holes cut in, has an original ford radio, does not work, the speakers are not connected. This car is unmolested. Whoever originally restored it kept it in original fashion. This car runs excellent, shifts just like it should, rides and drives real nice. It has had lower, rear quarters replaced which you can't tell from the outside of the car. The trunk and floors are real nice. I would say it has had partial floor patches but the underneath looks very solid. The gas tank has been replaced with a new one, all of the gauges work as they should. Not knowing that much about these old Mustangs, I would say that this one is well above average compared to most, the doors close solid and there aren't a bunch of rattles. Just a real good cruiser. Recent Engine Rebuild- New crank kit New schneider performance camshaft with new lifters and new cam bearings, has a nice performance lope at idle New timing set, oil pump, valve seals, piston rings, gaskets New carburetor, chrome air cleaner and new chrome valve cover Flywheel resurfaced with new ring gear installed, clutch was already replaced and in good shape Custom steering wheel carefully chosen to compliment the wheels, nearly a perfect match. I do have the large, ford steering wheel as well. New rear hi-jacker air shocks. New wheels and tires, I went for the old school drag look with the skinny tires out front and wide in the back. Tires are BFG's. The wheels are 5 lug all around, I have very high quality 4 to 5 lug wheel adapters so the original wheels can be put back on. I do have the factory wheels and tri-bar hub caps, the tires are nice, they have just a few hundred miles on them. Mileage shows to be roughly 37,000, I would assume it is in excess of it's mechanical limits. I have this vehicle for sale locally and therefore it could sell and I could pull this ad.
