Vehicle Detail
I bought this truck about 5 months ago so I had something to help haul stuff for working on the house. However, about a month ago my wife and I found out we will be adding additions to our family rather than our house, so I now need to get a 4 door. I wanted to use this rig to convert it to a crew cab (extended cab long bed and crew cab short bed 1st gen Dodge Rams are the same wheel base and a rather simple swap if you have the know-how) but my wife didn't want me tinkering with it. It is a 1990 Dodge LE Power Ram 250 (3/4 ton) 4WD Club Cab long bed pickup. I absolutely love this truck and for a 20+year old truck it is in amazing condition. The interior is in near mint condition. It has power windows (driver side motor replaced about a month ago), power locks, tilt steering column, a/c, cruise control, bucket seats (very comfortable bucket seats at that), center console, sliding rear window, floor mats, cargo light, and rear jump seats. I've had some buddies ride in the back and they said it is comfortable and it makes a great place for the dog to ride/sleep on the longer trips. The exterior is amazing for its age. There is some clear coat peeling, but that is common for this era Dodge. There are a couple of light dents/scratches but not really noticeable unless you are looking for them. The long bed is extremely handy for hauling stuff. The hood still even has the Ram emblem head on it (most get stolen). The engine is the 5.9 L (360) EFI engine that is runs strong and his backed up by an automatic transmission. It also has 4WD, with auto locking hubs, which can pull you out of any thing you get into. It also has power steering and brakes. The overdrive comes in very useful when driving on the freeway, helping to increase the MPG. The only reason I am selling this is because I will soon have an addition to the family and really need a 4 door to make it easier on us. This is an absolutely awesome truck and I really wish I did not have to sell it. I would not hesitate to jump in it and drive it across the country. I towed a 77 Dodge Club Cab Long bed with it and it pulled like there was nothing behind it. The 360 gas engine is actually relatively rare in this truck. The previous owner put in the trailer brake control system and ran wires to the back bumper, but never actually installed the 7 way plug. I have the title in my name. Please ask any questions you may have. I will add up any more info I can think of. I also have this listed for sale locally so if it sells, I may end the auction early. If you are able to, I highly suggest taking the truck for a test drive, you will fall in love with it immediately. Again, please ask any questions you may have. Rich On Jun-15-12 at 19:49:45 PDT, seller added the following information: I've gotten a bunch of questions regarding the truck and I will try to answer them here as best as I can. As you can see from the pics, the truck looks beautiful from 15ft. Closer inspection reveals that some of the clear coat is pealing and that there is the occasional dent/ding; but again, nothing major especially considering the year. I emailed Dodge customer service to find out more on the truck and this is the build sheet they emailed back to me: *R5 Premium Cloth Bucket Seats ADAA Light Group ADPA Heavy Duty Suspension Group AHC Trailer Tow Group AJKA Convenience Group AJPA Power Convenience Group AKC Peru Equipment Group APC Center Band Two Tone Paint ASPA SLT Decor Group BANA 120 Amp Alternator BGKS 4-Wheel Anti-Lock Brakes BKHS 12x2.5 Rear Drum Brakes CADP High Back Bucket Seats CGAS Manual/Active Restraint System CHEP Deluxe Headliner CKEP Front Seat Area Carpet CKNP Cargo Compartment Carpet CLAP Front Floor Mats CTBP Lower Cargo Compartment Trim Panel CTHP Luxury Front Door Trim Panel CUCP Floor Console DGB All 4-Speed Automatic Transmissions DGRS 4-Spd. Specifications Again, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I work 80 hours a week but will do my best to work with any delivery/pick up/shipping etc. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this truck anywhere (you could fly in to Boise and drive it home). If you plan on driving it home I'll make sure the fluids (coolant, oil, trans fluid) are all topped off and you have a fresh full tank of gas to go. Let me know if there is anything else you need from me. Rich
