2008 Ford Crown Victoria P71 (Interceptor) I recently purchased this vehicle from a county in South Carolina. This car was used by a detention center for transports. The mileage(167,823), is all highway and this vehicle was never used as a "patrol car" therefore it is in far better shape than most P71's. This car was fleet maintained by a meticulous county shop and there are no mechanical issues. It runs and drives like new. I was advised that coil packs(8), plugs, and boots are replaced at 80,000 miles on all county vehicles as a measure of preventative maintainence. It was a marked car with a light bar, therefore there are holes from equipment. Holes have been plugged. The paint is better than average but it has chips, dings, scratches etc. The rear bumper cover has many paint chips on it. The interior is in great shape. Four almost new Firestone 17" tires. Great car, needs paint to be perfect. These are the last of the rear wheel drive American Sedans and this car would serve faithfully for your transportation needs. These are reliable, safe, and real world proven performers. Fuel mileage is respectable and mid 20's on the hwy is normal. Check NADA and Kelly Blue Book. This car is priced right at half retail.
