Pepe Siatos, a renowned vintage Renault racer constructed it to use as his personal car. What separates it from other Gordini replicas are his use of original and period correct parts wherever possible. The rear subframe is a twin damper Gordini unit.. The 4 light front panel is also a Gordini piece featuring correct, concave Cibie lights with yellow globes and Cibie fog lights. All are hooked up and function properly. The wheels are reproduction Delta Bi-metal measuring 13"x6". Sitting behind the wheels at all 4 corners are disc brakes. The 4 speed transmission has been outfitted with sprint gearing for quicker acceleration. A new clutch and motor mounts have recently been fitted. The roll bar is a custom part fabricated by Siatos. A Formuling steering wheel has been added and the gauges are the correct vintage Jaeger units set into an R1135 6 gauge dash. Departing from standard is the engine, which displaces 1800cc and puts out approximately 110hp. It features a race spec head, dual Weber 40's and a tubular exhaust manifold. The radiator is aluminum and has been relocated tot he front of the car.
