Vehicle Detail
OK I finally decided to sell my Eclipse. This car has so much work done to it that the easiest way for me to TRY and remember all of the modifications is to just list them individually.First, a little background on the history of this car. I am the 2nd owner of this car and have owned it for 9 years now. I built it strictly for the drag strip so I didn't do much to the body or interior. The interior and body is flawless but I took a lot out of the inside to make it lighter (heater core, evaporator, plumbing, everything out of the rear section etc.) The reason why I'm selling it and selling it at such a low price has absolutely nothing to do with the car being bad. Its because I literally only drove it 500 miles in the last 7-8 years and I don't see the sense in keeping a nice car that someone else can enjoy and fix up the way he/she wants to. This is where to term "my loss your gain" comes into play because I know how much money I have in this car but I also know realistically how much I can sell it for. So, My loss your Gain!! This car does have some things that need to get worked on but considering how much money I have in this car already I'm not going to put more into it. The only issues that I have with the car is it has a slight oil leak (typical DSM) and it sometimes doesn't like to idle smoothly for you. The other issue is going from 2nd to 3rd gear is tricky NOT because the transmission but because I did have a short throw shifter installed but it gave me nothing but problems so I took it out. After I put the factory one back in it hasn't been the same and that's because I lost 2 small bushings that you have to have in there or you'll have the problem that's going on now. I can show you exactly what part number it is and where to get it....but I would suggest you just spend the money on a good quality aftermarket short throw shifter, B&M and call it good. Other than that it is what it is...a 11.87 (my best time with the 16G turbo. It now has a 20G turbo with the 8 injector set up) nice looking, clean, reliable DSM....yes I said reliable DSM because I built the engine (Master ASE certified tech and Engine Machinist!!!!) The interior isn't very flashy but it looks like a drag/street car should look. That's where the fun comes in for the next person if they choose to make the interior look however they want to. Pretty much what you're getting with this caris a super fast factory non-turbo sleeper that you can start doing all the actual fun stuff to that I never got around to doing. With all that said if you're really interested in this car you'll have to call me and we can talk about it. Like I said I've had this car for so long and have done SO much to it that we would have to talk in order for you to understandthe true history about this car. But lets start with the mods that I can remember and go from there. Engine Bay Mods: 1. Hahn Racecraft Stage 5 turbo kit ( 20G turbo with updated 12mm internal wastegate td06)2. Portfueler 8 injector set up.3. Aeromotive 1:1 regulator4. Aeromotive A1000 350 gal per hour fuel pump5. Complete -8 AN SS Braided fuel lines6. OBX intake manifold7. Modern performance 55mm throttle body8. Front mount intercooler9. 3" SS exhaust from turbo all the way back (no catalytic converter)10. Indy performance cylinder head. (MASSIVE CNC intake and exhaust runners now !!!!)11. 4 angle valve job12. SS 1 piece 1mm over Manely valves 13. Crane turbo camshafts with Crans high rev valve springs14. ARP Head studs and Crank studs15. Froged Eagle long rod kit with JE Forged 8:8 pistons16. Howell automotive 1 piece underdrive pulley17. High flow oil pump with increased pressure regulator18. BRAND new (maybe 30 miles) SPEC stage 4 with carbon/ceramic clutch kit. With aluminum flywheel and the higher pressure plate.19. AEM adjustable cam gears20. Venom high flow fuel rail for the first set of injectors21. Hahn RaceCraft high flow fuel rail for the second set of injectors22. Polyurethane Motor mounts23. MSD 8mm plug wires with MSD high voltage ignition coil pack24. Earl's 13 row oil cooler with -6 AN SS braided oil lines 25. Flexlite high CFM cooling fans26. Greddy type S BOV Body Mods:1. Brand new paint job 3 years ago (absolutely flawless body except for the hood - Explained below)2. Motegi 17" wheels with BF Goodrich Drag Radial TA on the front.3. New struts all around with all new bushings, bearings and ball joints4. Carbon fiber front and rear lights5. Updated to 98-99 style front (perfect for the front mount) Note: I didn't do much to the body or the interior becuase I built this car for the drag strip not for show. Also, the hood has damage to it from when I was racing. The flex plate sheared off thecrank bolts and destroyed about $4,000 worth inside the engine bay. I fixed/updated everything that was damaged except for the hood with the intentions of getting a carbon fiber one with the openinglike the EVO's. Again, that's all part of the stuff that the next person can do so he/she can make this car look however they want to. Interior/Instrumentation:1. AEM Wideband LAF sensor and gauge2. Greddy Spec-B boost controller3. Greddy Peak and Hold gauges (oil pressure, boost and EGT)4. Greddy Turbo timer5. Portfueler controller full stand alone management system for the second set of injectors.* I'll have to show you how to go through and tune this car. Its pretty simple. I have a pretty conservative tune on it now but with the new injectors and bigger turbo I haven't had it back on the dyno to get that PERFECT tune just yet.6. Summit racing 10 gal fuel cell7. Battery relocated to the right side rear seat Please feel free to contact me via text, e-mail, or calling me @ 937-935-zero-4-eight-3 Thanks, Keith
