1993 240 Volvo **Great Gas Mileage, Safe and Reliable** I have 45 years of mechanical experience and this is my hobby.I personally have done all major service by factory recommendation. This includes: New Oil Filter and Air Cleaner and fuel filterNew volvo factory Spark PlugsAll new rear and front brake padsCompression has been checked and each cylinder has 165lbs of compression.Replaced all light bulbs in dash and console.Complete lubrication and inspect electric windows regulators.Cleaned both water injectors of the windshield washer.New Windshield wipersCompletely clean all interior.Inspected both headlights and bulbServiced power steering pumpInspected Timing BeltService all fuel injector systemPassed smog test Service throttle valveChild lock systemElectric windowsA/C works greatNew BeltsCompleted automatic transmisson service which includes inside filterCompression test show that engine has 10% wear. The body is clean. It has a tiny dent on the left front side fender, on the trunk and a small piece of corrosion the right rear upper quarter panel. Ater fully inspecting, that is only place corrosion was seen. This is a very reliable car that can run for many years; all you need to do is make sure you service it according to factory recommendations every 4 to 5 thousand miles. This car will not need any type of major service in the upcoming years. It has been inspected and is ready to go!!!!! True mileage is unknown, but as you can see and with my experience, this car doesnt have the mileage it shows. The interior is in one of the best conditions I have seen in a 240. The previos owner replaced the speedometer with a much higehr mileage since the original one wasnt working and was to expensive to repair.This car is not comparable to any other private sellers selling their 240. I am retired and have the time to work on them and make sure it is just right.
