Vehicle Detail
This car is a Professional Super Stock Race Car. It was raced by Dave Wren in the 1970s. It was his well known Hemi Cuda he raced. Dave Wren told me this car set 2 national records. One in the SS/DA class and another set in the SS/D class after the car was converted from automatic to 4 speed. Some of the car's original options are as follows: 440 V code 6 pack, hemi orange/ tor red color with black interior, auto trans, N96 shaker hood, stereo delete. When Wren raced the car he pulled the 440 6 pack out of the car and raced it with a 426 Hemi. This car is Dave Wren's Multi-winner well known HEMI Cuda. Car currently has date coded F440 1970 block with 6 pack set up. It has correct numbers 956 383/440/ Hemi radiator. It retains a 4 speed and a race proven Dana 60 rear end. Wren told me car was ordered/ delivered out of Collette Chrysler/ Plymouth in Hillsboro, Oregon. Galen Govier authenticated car. Car is in many magazines several times. Some are; Car Craft magazine, Hot Rod magazine, National Dragster, Super Stock magazine, Mopar Collectors Guide June 2006 , and more. Dave Wren also raced other well known super stock racers: -Sox and Martin -Old Trapper Al Branham -Dick Landy -Bobby Warren -Ken Montgomery -Rusty Gillis -Ray Allen -Ron Rizzo, and many more. This car Won/ placed in many Super Stock events. Car maintains race proven shortened Dana 60 with estimated 4.88 gears. Dash in this car is mint, original grain! This car has won trophies and awards in many car shows. It wins in local car shows as well as larger shows such as the Mopar Mini Nationals and Dallas AutoRama. Super Stock/ Pro Stock race cars with this history are very rare, Ray Allen’s Chevelle sold $1.2 million, Grumpy’s Toy Bill Jenkins 1974 Vega sold $577,500. Recent Mecum auctions have had many vintage and historical race cars which have sold for $100K-300K+. This is your chance to own a piece of Muscle Car History!
