1966 66 FORD MUSTANG COUPE C CODE 289 AUTOMATIC NEW PAINT GT STRIPES CA CAR Up for auction is a beautiful classic 1966 Ford Mustang. Original California car. C-code coupe. Brand new paint Manhattan Metallic gray paint job with black GT rocker striping and functional cowl style hood scoop. Paint is a single stage with integrated clear coat. New front and rear bumpers. Remaining exterior trim is all original, complete and in good shape. Wheels are 60's style spoked 14x7 aluminum mags. Tires are Goodyear Integrity radials 195/70/14 and have plenty of tread. The motor is a performance built 289 small block. Not sure of the exact mileage on the build. Motor is turn key, runs great and has plenty of power. Holley 600 carburetor, Edelbrock Torker 2 intake, RV camshaft, headers, Accel 8MM wires, Cobra air cleaner and valve covers. Full length dual exhaust. Transmission is a C4 Cruise-o-matic three speed automatic. It shifts good through all gears. Interior was redone approximately two years ago and shows very nice. Original style standard black interior with bucket seats. Brand new cassette tape deck with dual 4" door speakers and IPOD MP3 input. Brakes work good and the suspsension handles nicely with rear air shocks. Rear end has been upgraded to a Ford 9 inch from a 1969 Mustang. This Mustang has power steering. Undercarriage is nice and clean, it does have one minor rust spot on the front drivers side floor pan (please see photos rust spot circled in red). Trunk is nice with no rust. Spare wheel and brand new trunk mat included. Clean and clear CA title Overall a very nice clean Mustang that is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
