Up for auction is a rare 1980 Triumph TR8. Only 2,750 of these cars were ever produced. This particular car has less than 31,000 original miles and is in all around excellent condition. Mechanical updates by the Wedgeshop include: -an Edelbrock 4-barrel replacement of the anemic dual Zenith-Strombergs -offenhauser intake & valve covers -Ford 8.8 posi rear end with disc brakes -high lift cam -rebuilt transmission-140MPH speedo calibrated to current mileage, so mileage is accurate The interior is original with the exception of the aftermarket mahogany steering wheel & shift knob. I have the originals if desired. There is some wear on the driver’s side seat bolster and I have included photo of it. I do have a spare seat from another car that will be included. Everything works with the exception of the clock which only works when it feels like it. The Midas gold paint is also original, but with added black accents. There is no rust that I have found and everything shines bright. Good rubber on 15-inch panasport wheels. Any and all questions are welcome: 603-781-4888.
