No Reserve Auction! I am listing this car for a friend. 1949 Nash Ambassador 2 Door Sedan. One family ownership since new. Bought new from "Wid" Johnson Motors in Walla Walla, WA (car still resides in Walla Walla). Original owner passed away around 1960 and the car was garaged as the wife did not drive. Nephew drove the car in the summer of 1967 for work and then it was again garaged since then. Only pulled out for pictures. Last registered and driven in 1967. The newspapers in the trunk are all dated from 1964. This is a true time capsule! Has been stored in a shop ever since. Was pulled out of storage last year, poured some gas down the carb and it fired up. Will need the tank cleaned, brakes gone trough and a general tune up as to be expected. 25,599 original miles. What you see in the pictures are the original seat covers installed by the dealer. There are a few areas that I can see through the covers, and in those spots, the original upholstery looks perfect.
