For auction is a 1961 sprite that is title 1963. Cars back then were titled when sold. It is date coded on the numbers matching engine transmission generator and much of the electrics 1961 Based on the serial number it is about the 500 th box sprite built after the bug eyes. The engine is rebuilt with new internal parts and still on its standard bore. It has standard size bearings in it . which is why I believe the milage to be true.The transmission is rebuilt to like new condition. The car is a bare metal restoration with new floor pans, rockers, and quarter patches and lower cowl patches. It can from the dry part of lower Kansas. The car was painted in ppg basecoat clear coat from the top to the bottom and was polish to a very high gloss. It has many new parts, carpet front king pins, bushings, radiator, new moss interior, robbins top, Brake master and wheel cylinders, The wiring harness has been recloth bound, new seals in the rear end. the crome has all been replated and the windsheild uprights reanodized.A very nice example of this interm sprite!
