Up for consideration is a 1971 Ford Ranger short bed equipped with a 390, auto trans, power steering, power brakes, A/C. The engine was completely rebuilt in 05 with the receipt. The trans was just recently done a few weeks ago and performs as it should. It runs smooth and shifts fine. Also has new dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Has new Cragar wheels and tires with very little mileage. The truck is pretty solid but has some minor rust. The floors look great but the floor supports do have some rust as seen in the video. The body looks pretty good, nothing major sticks out. The paint is an older non professional job and does not look great! The pictures I'm sure make it look better than it actually is. It has a shine and looks okay from about 10 to 15 feet away but has runs and imperfections here and there.The bed is in good condition but very scrathed up from use. We purchased this truck just as it is for a restoration project but ended up buying another project we prefer to do over this one. We have only driven it around the neighborhood a couple times and seems to run and drive fine. I don't know if the a/c works or not, neither did the previous owner.There is no belt. Some of the trim has dings. The interior requires some work, worn seat, cracked dash pad, and still has the original floor vinyl instead of carpet. The original am/fm 8 track stereo still works. Also has a new windshield,radiator, mirrors, bed rails. A pretty solid old truck with mechanical stuff already done, would be a pretty easy restoration with cosmetic stuff.
