Helping a friend sell this wonderful car. It is a 1 year only in the USA small bumper 1973 Mercedes Benz 280C. NOT a 250C!! This car has very low original miles and had the engine rebuilt only 7,000 miles ago. The car has been in storage for the last few years and hardly driven. It is very straight with original paint, there are a couple spots touched up here and there. The interior is all original and very clean. It even has the factory Becker radio in it. The AC blows but could use a recharge. All trim and chrome are intact and in very nice shape. The front end is very clean and the trim and window rubber is in nice shape as well. All the windows work smoothly. It even has the original California Blue Plates on it. This car has always lived in California. Also this is a single stage paint car. So no typical Mercedes clear coat failure. Easy to polish. Extensive service records are presented with the car. Including the engine rebuild receipt for over $8,500.... The original manuals and service cards are present and in A+ condition. There is a lot of history with this car. Perfect for a private collection or for a museum or dealership car. I have taken pictures of the engine and some detail shots near the head and valve cover to show how tight and clean it is.
