This will be the 3rd time I have had to relist this car because jokers could not get the funds. Not a joke to me! I am selling due to a divorce or it would never leave my stable. Have your wife's permission and money in place please Ultra rare probably will never see another in this combination and condition! This is a F-85- 442 Deluxe only 798 ever produced. On frame restored to orginal including Black paint. This car was ordered manual everything including no radio (I added a restored 442 am radio) The story I was told it was bought new to drag race and had the tri power dealer installed and the battery located to the trunk. I cannot prove this because original motor is gone and it has a mild mannered 1968 455 in it now with single carb. The low miles as well as a few other things point to the fact it was used for racing. No modifcations or cutting were done other than the battery in the trunk which I have put back in its original location and front turn signals were removed but were in the trunk and looked new. As I stated I cannot prove miles or history but Im convinced. Interior is amazing original material and very nice. Dash is perfect.(new carpet and sill plates) Motor is a 68 -455 mild mannered with no speed equipment added. All new fuel system including tank/ sender and rebuilt carb. Paint is new using all PPG products base/clear. This car was taken apart for painting many hours were spent blocking and is straight. Stainless and chrome was removed for painting and restored or rechromed. Including original bumpers. Color sanded and buffed to a mirror like finish. All new rubber products and weather seals/window wiskers Steel wheels and hub caps were in the trunk when I bought it and belived to be original and looked like new. Transmission is a 4 speed that works well as does the clutch, original 442 shifter Rearend is a stock 390 posi thats works well Underside of car is clean and detailed. Newer exhaust This car is very detailed and ready to show and drive. Over 20k spent on restore I am very motivated to sell my reserve reflects that. Thousands less than NADA average book and in my opinion this is worth more than high book which is in the low 40K and would bring that at Barrett Jackson This is a true investment that you can buy for a fraction of its value.
