You are bidding on a 1952 MG TD. This MG was completely restored in 2005 and comes with a certified appraisal from The American Society of Appraisers. The restoration was performed by M & W Restorations in Washington, PA. M&W specializes in restoring MG T-series vehicles. The title is clear and ready to be signed over. The restoration items will be broken down into sections as follows. Chassis -Frame disassembled and sand blasted -Re-primed and painted -Front Suspension: *Leaf springs disassembled and leaves sand blasted *Springs painted and rebuilt using new leaf spring pads and hardware *Rear axle ring and pinion gears changed from 5.125:1 to 4.30:1 ratio *Rear axle housing sand-blasted and painted *All seals and bearings renewed *New BSF hardware used where possible -Frame reassembled with above rebuilt components with BSF hardware where possible -Front and rear brake plates sand blasted, painted and rebuilt using new components (brake cylinders, brake fluid DOT5 and master cylinder) -Frame fitted with new bushings and new pedal shaft at pedal box Tub -Sheet metal removed from wood frame, sand blasted, repaired and painted -Wood repaired/replaced in frame as needed with white ash -Wood frame sealed -Sheet metal re-nailed to wood frame -All sheet metal, wings, aprons, running boards and bonnet sections sand blasted and primed -Dash board restored by Whitworth Shop, gauges rebuilt by Vintage Restoration in England (speedometer geared for 4.30:1 rear axle ratio) Engine -Completely disassembled and rebuilt (including oil pump) to original specifications -Rebuilt water pump -Rebuilt dynamo -Rebuilt starter -Engine fitted with Al Moss rear seal conversion -New tachometer and speedometer cables -New emergency brake cables with grease fittings -Spin on oil filter Gear Box -Disassembled and all bearings and seals renewed Chrome -All new replica or rechromed Interior -Seats new (Moss Motors) -Panels new (Moss Motors) -Carpet new (Moss Motors) -Hand crank mounted on seat back Weather Equipment -New tan top (Stafast) -New side screen covers (Stafast) -New half tonneau cover (Stafast) Tires -15 inch radials new Terms of Sale Telephone or in-person communication is required to complete this sale.
