1968 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible 1968 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible Times are tough all over so whether I like it or not I have to think about selling some toys. 1968 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible, 390 V8, C4 automatic. 90% restored and all numbers are matching, 78,000 ACTUAL miles. The mileage is real and verified as I am the 3rd owner. Car is an August Y model, manufactured in and originally sold in Texas. Things done: 390 cleaned and tuned, new points , full body off restore..no body rust! new radiator, new heater core, rebuilt Carbs- Holley double pump 4bbl, Convertible top completely replaced and adjusted by Mr. Sid's, upholstery , Pioneer 10 disc CD changer w/remote and 12" subs in completly dressed trunk. The list goes on. Had the car assessed- at $16500 before I had the upholstery done. Assessment docs & all repair and restoration records etc- go with the car. I have over $18000 in the car and a lot of blood sweat and tears so please do not bother with low-ball offers.
