1986 Isuzu Trooper 179,884 miles All LS options including Front and rear bumpers not available that year. Has Isuzu Factory Speakers and Pioneer cd player. Drives smooth no hesitation or clunks. Engine still very healthy and has a ton of life left. Turbocharger Replaced with a GT17 unit both oil and water cooled for longer life. Updated Exhaust for better flow. Its got a small leak at the front main seal i check the oil daily and it goes through Half a quart between oil changes and it runs Rotella 15w40 every 3-4k. Its got fairly recent tires 2years old, rear is about 70% left and front is 80% left on tread life. they are Bfgoodridge all terrain size 31x10.5x15. the transmission has a new input shaft seal and engine has a rear main seal installed at the same time a new clutch was put in 8k miles ago. The entire trooper was repainted a deep metallic red. looks very nice. the brakes have about 60% left front and back. The rear differential and driveline is out of another trooper that has 84k on that. Interior is good shape no major wear, the front seats are almost new they are out of a 91 trooper ls. The rear seat is in good shape also. there are a few spots that show minor wear are the painted parts or interior have small scratches nothing major. overall A 8/10 for interior to be complete and missing nothing. I have used it two seasons to travel from Sacramento to Sierra tahoe it keeps 55mph up the steepest hills loaded with 4 snowboards and for adults inside. Overall a very nice Turbo Diesel trooper.
