For your consideration I have a 1983 Porsche 944 for sale. The car is a 5 speed manual. NA 2.5 liter 4 Cylinder 150HP. The 944 did not come with power steering in 1983, nor does it have A/C. I purchased the car in may of 2007, from a recently divorced 50yo women, who lived down the street from me. I have put approximately 1000 miles since Ive owned it. The car has been garaged its entire life, and stored winters. Body is in very good condition 8/10 Interior is black with Porsche OEM logo interior and in fair to good shape 6.5/10. The sunroof does not leak, and the flip up lights do work. I have not driven the car in about 3 years. When I tried to start it recently it would not start without starting fluid, and the battery is dead. As of right now the car is not in running condition, and will need to be towed. My neighbor a Porsche enthusiast (currently owns 5), restores and races various models of Porsches seems to think there is a problem with the fuel pump and or fuel filter. This i cannot verify this so bid accordingly. When the car was last stored for the winter 3 years ago, the oil was changed with Mobil one FULL Synthetic, the plugs changed with Bosch's, and Stailbil added to the fuel. The tires do not seem to have any dry rot, but may have flat spots. This is my second 944 in about 10 years and they are a complete blast to drive. They handle phenomenally well, and get very good gas mileage 25-30. They were the fastest production 4cyl car in 1983. The 944 is sold AS-IS with no implied warranty. The car is for sale locally as well, and I reserve the right to end the auction early due to local sale.
