You are bidding on a 1970 VW beetle. It is a cute little car that runs well, and looks nice. It has the original 1600cc dual port motor with 4-speed transmission. The motor runs well but could use a tune up, it sometimes dies when coming to a stop. There is a little oil leak at the passenger valve cover and at the oil plug, otherwise the engine is dry. The brakes function fine , however it does pull a little to the left. The transmission sifts very well and does not grind any gears. The floors have been replaced, but not by a professional, so they are solid and strong but not the prettiest. There has been some other work done to the rockers and the heater channels. The heater channels are not stock, they have been fabricated, and utilize pvc pipe for the heat piping. All the modifications can be undone fairly easily, if not to your liking. The interior is OK it has new carpet, and the original seats. The drivers seat has a rip in it but the passenger and rear seat are fairly good. Now the exterior of the car. There is some rust, behind both doors and the trunk is rusted out. Other then that the rest is surface and can be fixed easily. There is one big dent on the driver rear fender, that has been pounded out but will still need some work. The driver door does drop when you open it. All the glass is good. The bumpers are no good, they are rusted bad. Other then that the car does run, drive, and stop fine. It will need some tlc, and if all fails it has a lot of really good parts.
