Vehicle Detail

Here's a nice Real Deal Boss 302 I've owned since 2007. I've just restored too many toys including a 65 Fastback a Model A and T and just want to thin out the herd. The Boss was born in Dearborn a K paint code car (Bright Gold Metalic) which is one of my favorite Boss colors. I origionally was going to do a repaint but the Yellow has been such a big hit at shows and general public I just left it. I've drove/showed the Boss to Fabulous Fords Forever Show at Knotts Berry Farm where Parnelli Jones signed the glove box door. Also drove to 2009 Queen Mary Show in Long Beach where it took a first in its class and have won several trophys at local shows as well. I'm not afraid to drive this car anywhere. I've restored it to DRIVE! It's not the perfect 100 point Boss but a really nice piece of history that has been a joy to own and share with others over the past few years. The engine is not a matching number. Date code OE12. (12th day of May 1970). Heads OA19 19th day of January 1970). I feel it may be a service block or from a donor. I removed it in 2009 to freshen up. My engine builder found pistons and crank was still standard. It didn't need any machine work. We installed new rings, bearings, lifters, pro comp magnum roller rockers, cam, ss valves. It runs like new there's no disappointment with power. It also drives like new with new front upper and lower a arms. Also installed roller spring saddles. The 9"rearend has the traction-loc and V code axle ratio. Before I purchased it there was a right side rear bump. The rear quarter had been replaced and driver side front floor. Hey, its 40+ years old things happen! Looks like a good job on the fix. The paint is a 8-9 out of 10. The interior is in great shape no tears or loose seams and everything works including that origional AM radio I never turn on because I like the sound of the Magnaflows out the rear. Your welcome to come and inspect the car. Its listed in the 2011 Boss Registry page 104. Look at the pics here and if you are a serious bidder and have any questions just e-mail me or call.
