DRIVE TRAIN *** ***** THIS MUST BE A 1 OF 1 CAR ***** *** RARE & UNIQUE FACTORY OPTIONS *** This very rare 1970 GTX FACTORY TRACK PAK RAPID TRANSIT SYSTEM CAR has spent its whole entire service life on the west coast from day one, With only having two owners in 42 years its has been cherished and very well cared for from day one, Like a prize possession and a great trophy on a shelf that it truly is still today. It's all 100% numbers matching from front to rear with the factory original parts it left the factory with, which is very hard to find these days and a good statement of its overall excellent condition that it is still in today. Here is a small list of factory original parts that I have noted that the car still retains; # 2998 956 26" radiator, # 2998 326 Fan shroud, # 2863 216 7- Blade fan, # 2806 070 Torque drive fan clutch, # 2983 116 3-Speed variable wiper motor, # 4737S Carter avs hp carburetor w/# 3549 318 Idle solenoid, # 295 1737 Intake manifold, # 2899 968 & # 295 1864 Exhaust manifolds, # 3438 222 Distributor, # 2843 904 Cylinder heads, # 2536430 Engine block, # 3512 017 Forged six-barrel/six-pack crankshaft damper, # 2951 564 6-qts. Oil pan w/windage tray, # 3466 479 K-frame w/skid plate, # 2892 511 Aluminum clutch bell housing, # 3410683 Manual transmission, # 2883 775 Driveshaft, # 082 Rear Dana axle assembly. There's plenty more original parts like the original power steering pump w/cooler, power brakes power booster. Most of the brakes hardware and accessories are original to the car also. It Still retains all of its original factory Chrysler installed glass including both wings, windshield, all side glass & back window, Most of the interior is also original. All factory gauges & all wood panels, dash & door panels, Radio & both speakers, Dash pad, Headliner, Door panels & arm rest's, Package tray, Rear seat covers, It's only had one re-paint in 42 years and that was in the mid 80's in its factory original color of Chrysler's eb5 blue fire metallic, Just the outside of the car body mostly, not the insides of the door jambs or under carriage and just a little under the hood and trunk areas and the paint still looks great today, Not a spot of rust to be found on it, then or now!, Just some of the factory paint jobs didn't hold up very good back in the day. The engine was professionally rebuilt to factory stock specifications retaining the stock cylinder bore about the same time ( mid 80's) due to a bad rod bearing, it has been running and looking great ever since and to this very day!!. This car always start's hot or cold after sitting for five minutes or sitting a day or even a month, doesn't run hot, doesn't leak more than a dime size of area after sitting for a month or two, The power steering w/cooler steer's straight down the road with your hands off the steering wheel and is very easy to get around with only one hand on wheel in tight spots or turns, The power brakes will stop you on a dime and give you change back. Run's and drive's wonderful in every way and has plenty of ground pounding power with a massive amount of torque and a sound of music from under the hood and the rear dual exhaust. It will smoke the tires clean off the car in every gear if you choose to drive it that way!!, I don't......well ok.... at least not very often anyways. If you just drive it like a normal car it drives and reacts just like a car of today and it is very nice to drive and handle in all kind of traffic. 100% reliable and a true turn key car and go. Every thing works as it should, Key buzzer alarm, Locking steering wheel with locking transmission, All gauges (except clock & fuel gage) sorry!, All lights, All turn signals, brake lights, parking lights & even the hazard warning flashers & hood turn signals, Dome light, Head lamps (low & high beam's ) including high beam gage light, Windshield wipers all three speeds, Radio & both speaker's front and rear, 4-speed reverse warning dash light, Trunk light, Glove box & Ash tray light, The list's just go's on and on. Not a perfect car but very few are, With very little t&m this 70 GTX could be a OE GOLD NATIONAL CONTENDER!! This GTX has great history and providence being only a two owner car in 42 years. You could fly in from any where in the country and drive this GTX home today with no problems and hassle free. Some other facts, features & rare options with this car is that it has a F-440-HP2 factory engine that was built to be installed in Six-barrel or Six-pack cars, The factory started releasing these engines in other 440 4-speed applications due to the fact they seen the end coming so they needed to move them out, So if one wanted to you could add a new six barrel set up on the top and have a real factory track pak six barrel set up. Its also a factory slick top car (painted roof/top) non-vinyl roof very rare option, Chrysler always wanted to sell you the vinyl top option , N96 air grabber, Bucket seat w/Buddy seat , Hood tie down pins, White side stripe, Rear bumper guards, Rear window defogger, A01 light package, Power brakes, Power steering w/cooler, 15X7 Chrysler's Rallye wheels mounted on F60-15 Goodyear polyglas RWL tires & of course the (A33) track pak option with the 3:54 gear ratio, Which is so much nicer and a better car to drive than the (A34) super track pak option with 4:10 gear ratio due to the fact you can cruise the 3:54 down the highway at 75/80 mph with out sounding like you going to blow your motor up due to over revving. QUESTIONS OR IF YOU WANT TO COME SEE THE CAR IN PERSON & DRIVE IT HOME PLEASE CALL; RANDY@ (602)206-3509 *** QUESTIONS OR FOR FURTHER DETAILS CALL *** *** RANDY @ (602) 206-3509 *** THE MEMORABILIA PICTURED IN THIS AD DOES NOT COME WITH THE CAR.
