1976 Ford F-150 custom Up for auction is my 1976 ford F-150 custom heavy duty. I special ordered this truck in March of 1976. I have used it for home remodeling business for over 35 years. The truck is in very good shape for its age. It has always been garage kept. And have always changed the oil and fluids as recommended by the manufacturer. The bed is an 8 foot step side, with a custom oak bed (very rare). At the time I got the truck you couldn’t just buy tool boxes, so I had these custom made by Warner Bed Company. The engine is a high output 390; I put a center force clutch in to handle the extra torque. The shifter is a three on the tree (column). Everything mechanical is in good working order. Ther is 92077 miles in chassis but the engine has close to 35,000 miles on it. There is some rust on it but nothing that can’t be fixed. Also the steering is alittle lose, but i just think it needs ajustingto fix that problem. I am retiring and would like to sell this to someone that can use a truck like this. I would be willing to consider trading it for a Chevy S-10 or a Ford Ranger that is an extended cab or a 4 door with 4 wheel drive.
