1971 Dodge Demon - Built 340ci - Automatic - Rust-free AZ car! Numbers-matching drivetrain included! Broadcast sheet & Fender tag! Demon currently has a 340 engine - Ported and Polished 202 J Heads, Bored .30 over, Forged TRW Pistons 10.5:1, Comp Cam 501 lift / 282 duration / degreed in tight, new double roller timing chain & gears,new Melling high-volume oil pump, Holley high volume mechanical fuel pump, Anti-pump up Lifters, Flow-Kooler water pump, 90 degree oil filter relocator, Steel crank, Electronic Ignition, Brass Freeze plugs, LD340 Intake, Holley 800 Double-pumper Carburetor, Mopar Valve covers, Hooker Super Comp Ceramic-coated Headers, 3" TTI pipes w/Magnaflow mufflers, Lakewood Driveshaft loop. This 340 sounds very healthy & runs STRONG - not for the faint of heart. Nice lope and aggressive! The numbers-matching engine the Demon was born with is included, it's no slouch and is complete and running (see engine on stand in photos!). 318 w/4BB - Holley Street Dominator intake w/Holley 600 Carburetor. Motor was completely re-gasketed, Brass Freeze plugs, powder-coated valve covers, Billet breathers, Black Hooker headers, 2.5" Performance exhaust w/turbo mufflers. Both engines run with the 904 Automatic trans - floor shift. 8&3/4 Rear End included! Stock Rear end in the Demon right now. Small converter. Manual steering and Manual brakes. The Demon has new front suspension - (American) MOOG kit: 4 tie rods, 2 sleeves, idler arms, pitman arms, draglink. New master cylinder. Autometer gauges. Mallory 5" RevLimiter tach w/shift lite, 3-core radiator, A-body console w/12V power outlet (rare!), Tuff wheel, fender turn signals, Weld ProStar wheels (15x7 front, 15x8 rear), L60 tires in rear, new hood pins, new hood scoops, new carpet, new door panels, new headliner (some wrinkles), new mirror. The body is rust-free, floorpans/trunk pan & frame rails all in great shape! The Demon has filler in a few select areas that were used to smooth out small dents. All pinch welds and seams present and unmolested. Bumpers are ok, rear has a dent (see photos). All brightwork in very good condition. Paint is amatuer-quality, but still presents well! Body was media-blasted and repainted by previous owner in 2006. Has nice shine to it, but would need blocked to be perfectly straight - some fisheyes on roof....not perfect, but presentable. Grille is in great shape! The front bucket seats have a couple seam tears, with one or two in the rear seats - they present pretty well, see photos! Dashpad is perfect, instrument cluster in great shape - dash uncut, stock radio still present. DR armrest is included (just not installed in photos). Trunk weatherstripping also included (not installed in photos). This Demon was very original and could easily be a nice numbers-matching driver. We even have the original 14" Rallye wheels we will include with the Demon. The 340 just makes this lightweight A-Body fun! The 318 has low miles and runs very good as well. All locks work, 2 sets of keys. Just a fun, FAST car to drive around in and not have to worry about parking somewhere. As with any 41-yr old car, there is no warranty and this is an As-Is sale.
