MERCEDES-BENZ 300 SD TURBO DIESEL NO RESERVE = CAR WILL SELL CLASSIC 1978 4-DOOR SEDAN 5 CYLINDER TURBO DIESEL ENGINE STRONG POWER & HIGHER MILE PER GALLON!!! I've own this car for two years and it has been a nice running automobile. On the coldest of winter days this car started up EVERYTIME! The engine and turbo is strong and so is the automatic transmission. The power sun roof allows operates perfectly! The car comes with power steering and power brakes. The steering is a little looser than I like but very drivable. The interior is darker tan and the driver seat is showing alot of wear. The radio currently does not work. The windows are power, but the driver's window regulator is out - I started to change that out, but it is more than I can do. The exterior is pretty good condition except by the rear passenger door - see picture. The classic light tan Mercedes paint is in fair condition and there is alot of chrome on this beauty! Extremely clean trunk area. New battery (that is not cheap for this car). Tires have ok tread left. Exhaust system seems to be ok too. For all of you that know - this car is built like a TANK! The Mercedes 300 SD is 34 years old - so it is a classic, but it also is not new - so the years have put some wear and tear on the beast, but overall is still a good vehicle and if you are into restoring - this is a car for you! You can simply buff and wax the girl, add some cool looking rims and tires, replace the driver door regulator, replace or repair the drive seat, and update the stereo and you have yourself a sharp lookin classic - that is made out of real steel! Please bid only if you have money$$$ and NO I'm not shipping the car across the pond. Also buy local if you live in some 3rd world country - don't waste my time or drive up the bid for someone else that is REALLY SERIOUS!
