1967 Olds Delmont 88 2dr HT, 310hp 425 engine, 10.25:1 compression ratio, factory A/C, TH400 transmission, 12 bolt open rear. The engine has 145 to 152 pounds of compression in all cylinders, does not knock, leak or smoke. The carburetor is freshly rebuilt, the fuel pump, fuel line, points, condenser, rotor, cap, ignition wires and spark plugs are new. The ball joints and tie rod ends are solid and the steering has no free play. The floor boards are solid but the trunk has a few spots that will need attention. There are a few spots on the lower body and one spot on the "C" pillar that will require repair. The worst spot is between the rear of the right and the wheel house, that was repaired years ago with bondo, that will need fabrication. This spot was probably not painted properly at the factory and rusted early. I have known of this car for over 12 years and it has not been painted during that time so there is nothing covered-up. The plastic on the rim of the steering wheel is cracked. I have reviewed the paper work in the glove compartment and based on that, along with the condition of the mechanicals, the mileage appears to be correct. The protect-o-plate and owners manual are there. The value of this car is as follows: Class 6 - $620, Class 5 - $1,860, Class 4 - $3,100, Class 3 - $6,980, Class 2 - $10,850, Class 1 - $15,500. I'm starting the auction at $620 with no reserve. The body is class 4 and the mechanicals are class 2, you be the judge. It will need to have the brakes redone and the lights checked to be drivable.
