This is a great year for the Ford vans. I bought this thinking I would fix it up and haul my Vespa and Lambretta scooters in but I lost interest. I think this is such a cool van. My friend almost bought it to tow his Airstream but he doesn't have the cash. I bought this from the original owner. He parked it back in 2001 at the age of 82 because he was going blind. He bought it new off the lot to transport antiques in. It ran until he parked it in 2001. It will probably need the carb rebuilt. It will need brakes. The tires are OK but I would get new ones. The paint is all original except where some ding-dong sprayed the rust along the bottom and the bumpers. The previous owner said a neighbor boy did it. There is rust all over but mostly surface rust. The bad areas are by the latch above the rear door and along the bottom on both sides. I have included pictures of these areas. There is a cool step that folds out when you opn the side door. There is a cool chrome roof rack. The seats a crummy and have had covers but I have one near new replacement seat for it that is an original. I think it is a 302 V8 and a C4 automatic transmission.
